The SSP can be used to reset and unlock your passwords using your FIS Client user account without calling your FIS representative. The first step is to setup your security "Challenge" questions. Once this is done, the answers to these questions can be used for self-help, or if you email FIS Client Support, the Support team will ask you for the answers to these questions to verify your identity.
1. Go to https://clientssp.fnfis.com
2. Click on My Challenge Questions. Enter your username and password. Select Login.
3. Now, you are required to answer a minimum of 5 questions. The answers must contain more than 4 characters and cannot be the same as other answers.
4. Once you fill out at least 5 answers, hit the submit button. This will save your answers and redirect you to the main page.
5. You are now ready to use the system. Hit the logout link at the top.
This option should be used to reset your password if you know your username, but not your password. After entering your user name you will be required to answer your challenge questions correctly then a random password will be generated and displayed on the screen. You will need to know this password for future needs to login to the SSP and change your password. If you have not set up your challenge questions or are unable to answer them correctly you will need to contact your FIS Client Relationship Manager to request the reset for you. Once the password is reset you will need to log in and set up your challenge questions for future self-help.
This option should be used to have the SSP check your accounts to see if any of them are locked. If they are and you successfully answer your questions, the SSP will unlock all your accounts. If you haven’t answered your challenge questions you will be directed to contact FIS Client Support to have your account unlocked.
This option is to give you the ability to change your password. You must know your current password in order to log in.
After logging in you will be given the option to enter a new password and instructrions on the password requirements. Once you select Change Password your password will be reset and you will not be able to access the FIS application using your new password.
